Mr Heater MH9BX Review – Winter is Coming!

The Mr Heater MH9BX is North America’s Most Popular Portable Propane Heater! I have owned one of these for a few years now and use it regularly. This Mr Heater portable propane heater is versatile as it can be used in a variety of scenarios such as tents, tailgates, hunting blinds, emergency heating, etc. You name it, you can use it. The Mr. Heater brand has been around since 1984, and produces some of the best heaters on the market. We’ll also look at a couple of Mr Heater accessories that’ll make your experience a little better.

Users Tip: The Mr. Heater heavy duty cover can also be used as a cooking surface!

Of course, there are other options for heating while outdoors. You could build a fire. Unfortunately, there are often times burn bans in certain areas during the drier months. You will also have to bring or locate firewood before you can start your fire. Once all that is completed and you’re off to bed for the evening, you still have to worry about heat. Having a portable, safe for indoor use heater will alleviate those issues and allow you to rest comfortably.

  1. We just moved to the Pacific Northwest and the scenery here is absolutely amazing! We have decided that we are going to take up camping and I know that this heater would make life so much more comfortable especially for my wife in the morning with the winter chill. This looks like a very good product.

  2. A Mr. Heater might be well worth considering. It looks like it can be used anywhere, whether or not you’re close to the power grid. I once lived somewhere where the power went out for two weeks after an ice storm, and this would have been handy back then. It’s also seems safe to use, as it turns itself off automatically if it falls over.

I couldn’t agree more! Me. Heater is a reliable product! It also has numerous safety features, as you mentioned, that really make this perfect for many applications.

I typically use mine at the ball field or in a shooting house. Thankfully, we have a minimal amount of nights below freezing where I live, but this product can definitely get you out of a bind during an emergency.

  3. I appreciate this timely article because we were just talking about finding ways to provide heating when traveling about. I have not previously heard about the Mr Heater brand. It’s good to know that the brand has been around since 1984. The price is certainly reasonable based on its many features. I also like the accessories that are available. I also like having a one-year warranty.
