There is something for everyone when Outdoors. If you looking here, you are either looking to add some new activities or maybe you haven’t spent a lot of time outdoors in the past. In addition to all the fun that can be had outdoors, there are also numerous health benefits to spending time outdoors. This includes physical, emotional, and spiritual. Those are topics for another day.
If you have a trip planned, you want it to be exciting and enjoyable for everyone. That is what it is all about. As I have said before, I have a great passion for the outdoors. It doesn’t take a lot for me to enjoy myself in nature, but that is not the case for everyone.
Many of the activities below can be grouped into multiple categories. Your group size, purpose, and experience level will help determine what activities you should begin with. I should also note that this list is not all-inclusive. You may have numerous activities that you enjoy that didn’t make the list.
Recreational Activities
Recreation in itself means refreshment of strength and spirits after work according to Webster. In other words, a hobby, something that you enjoy doing to renew yourself.
